He founded and served as President and Chief Executive
Officer of Flash Creative Management, a business technology company focused on
assisting companies to identify their strategic objectives and tactical plans
and build the processes and technologies to support them. Clients included
American Express, 3M Health Information Systems, Reinauer Transportation
Corporation, Johnson and Johnson, DaimlerChrysler, Deloitte and Touche, City of
North Charleston, University of California and Microsoft Corporation.
Flash earned recognition as an Inc. 500 Company for three
years and an Upside Magazine "Emerging Star" Company in the field of technology.
Flash has also been recognized as a Deloitte Touche Tomatsu New Jersey Fast 50
Technology Company and among the nation's Fast 500 firms. Along with his
partner, Y. Alan Griver, he was a finalist in Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of
the Year Program.
Mr. Blumenthal sold Flash, under very favorable terms, in
November 2000 to GoAmerica Communications Corp., at which time he assumed the role of
Chief Operating Officer. The purpose of the acquisition and his role was to
create an infrastructure for a rapidly growing company. A requirement was to
build a team and create a smooth transition and integration for the benefit of
both GoAmerica and Flash professionals.
Mr. Blumenthal has extensive experience in developing
business strategies, corporate policies and organizations. He has been a
featured speaker on business management at Inc. Magazine’s Growing Your
Company Conference, Borland's Developers Conference, Microsoft’s Developers
Conference, the Professional Association of Database Developers and at numerous
user groups. He has been a frequent contributor to Data Based Advisor.
His educational background includes a Masters of Business
Administration from New York University with a concentration on Organizational
Development and Personnel Training and Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts
in Journalism and Mass Communications from New York University.
